According to an article I found on PCMag.com yesterday, it looks as though the Kindle will be available in Staples stores on October 10.
"Staples will carry three Kindles, two of which will be available on Sunday; the $139 6-inch Wi-Fi version and the $189 6-inch Wi-Fi plus 3G model. The $379 Kindle DX, with a 9.7-inch screen, will be available at Staples in mid-November. The store will also sell a variety of Kindle accessories."
This is great news. Target has had the Kindle available for a while and being able to see the Kindle in "person" has to have been good for sales. I know whenever I have my Kindle out in public people want to see it and touch it. It has turned into quite a conversation piece. There is nothing like having a Kindle in your hands to make you want one (or two or three).
