Collections are great! They can certainly keep you from having to wade through pages and pages of titles on your Kindle, and if you have hundreds and hundreds of books, it could get messy.
At the top of your Kindle home screen, you can choose to sort your books by title, author, or collection. If you have collections set up, and choose to sort your books by title, your collections will be listed last. If you would like to have them listed first, and in any order you choose, rename your collections with numbers at the beginning of each collection name. If you have hundreds of books, you will still have lots of Kindle home pages, but your collections and their contents will be listed first, and should make navigating a little easier.
