Kindle Skills - No Limit

There may be a limit to the number of Kindles (or Kindle devices) a book can be on (on one Amazon account), but there is no limit to the number of actual Kindle devices you can personally have on your Amazon account.

So... if you are sharing your Amazon account for Kindle reading purposes. You may be able to have a certain book on no more than 3 Kindle devices at one time. So if you have more than 3 people, and more than 3 devices, just take turns. When one person is finished with the book in question, remove it from that device so someone else can put it on theirs.

My daughter Kelly and I share my Amazon account. She is using my Kindle 2 and I just never took it off my account. It just makes sense, since she likes many of the same books I do, and we enjoy reading some books "together."

You may have more Kindle devices than you realize. These free Kindle software applications (apps) create a seamless link between your device and Amazon, allowing you to do most everything you can on the actual Kindle. You have access to the archives on your Kindle Amazon account as well as all those thousands and thousands of FREE books you can "buy" on Amazon for your Kindle.
Buy Once... Read Everywhere!
You have a Kindle device if you have:
  • A Windows PC (free Kindle for PC software)
  • An iPad (a free app)
  • An iPod Touch (free app)
  • iPhone (free app)
  • Android phone or tablet (free app)
  • Mac or Macbook (free Kindle for Mac software)
  • Blackberry (free app)
  • Windows Phone 7 (free app)
With any of these, you can do the same thing you can do on any Kindle. You can download and read ebooks, purchase Kindle books from Amazon, even get free samples of books so you can "try before you buy."

You need basic computer skills to download the free software, install it and use it. And... you can't have too many Kindles in the house!

Sharing is good.
