The Menu Button is good for lots of things:
See the time - Press MENU button
How much free memory (space)? - Press MENU button
What kind of wireless is available? - Press MENU button (a 3G or 1X symbol will appear next to the signal strength bars when the wireless is on)
Up for a game?
Play Minesweeper on your Kindle.
From the Home screen, press Alt+Shift+M together (note: the shift key is the up arrow next to the Alt key on the left side of the bottom row of the Kindle keyboard)

Wikipedia Kindle Search:Make sure your Kindle is connected to the Internet. Type in the name or words you want to search. Search terms are not case sensitive but spelling is important. Toggle the 5-way button to the right until Wikipedia is highlighted. Press in on the 5-way to make it happen. Happy Reading!
