Kindle Skills - Kindle Fire Friendly Files

The most up to date information I can find as to what kinds of files your new Kindle Fire will be able to handle with the least fuss (just transfer and read or hear) are these:
Kindle (AZW), TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, PRC natively, Audible (Audible Enhanced (AA, AAX)), DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, non-DRM AAC, MP3, MIDI, OGG, WAV, MP4, VP8.

There is no manual available for the Kindle Fire yet, but I feel pretty comfortable guessing the folder structure is going to be similar (if not the same) as other Kindles. Book files will need to go into the Documents folder in order to see them on the Home screen. Audio files and audio books will have their own folders. We will see...

Hmmm the MP4 (the iPod likes this video file) is kind of surprising, and VP8 is Google's video. This is becoming a very exciting mystery of sorts. I can't wait to get my hands on one and put it through a test or two (or three)...
