Our new Kindle Fire did just great on its first road trip! On the way to St. Augustine Florida, while connected to the Internet via the hotspot feature on his cell phone, I was able to catch up on quite a few Star Trek (various seasons) episodes, thanks to my Amazon Prime account. What a way to stay out of hubby's hair while he broke every damn traffic rule (not to mention exhibited a bodacious tendency to road rage over the smallest things) and generally went out of his way to get my attention. Gotta love that man! With my eyes glued to the Captain and my earbuds firmly ensconced, there's no telling what kind of trouble that man got into.In the car, with bright sun, don't expect the picture to be much. With what I was watching, the listening part was the best for me. It just took me back to my happy place when I was young and full of (fill in the blank) and knew just about everything.
Tomorrow we are heading back to Memphis. I believe I'm going to be reading a nice bodice ripper this time around. Johanna Lindsey's The Perfect Someone (book 10 of the Mallory series) has taken over my little brain. I'm loving it! Some books just can't be put down.
