Oh yes... it is built right into your Kindle and as easy to get to as toggling the cursor to the left of the word you want to define with the up, down, left and right buttons around the 5-way controller.
As soon as you get the cursor to the left of a word, you will see a mini definition at the bottom of your screen. Press in on the center button in the 5-way controller to see a more detailed definition.
Press the Back button to return to your reading when you are finished reading the definition. I love the Back button. It will take you back to your book no matter where you are, including the Kindle store.
